- BAMPFA’s Individual Giving Officer plays an essential role in strengthening and expanding the community of generous annual donors who support the mission of the UC Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive.
- Reporting to the Director of Development (DOD), the Individual Giving Officer is primarily responsible for meeting annual engagement, solicitation, and income targets through frontline work with individual donors and close collaborations with BAMPFA’s curatorial and program staff.
- The Individual Giving Officer works closely with BAMPFA’s Director, curators, and other members of the development team—as well as colleagues in University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR)—to ensure that BAMPFA’s community of donors is thoughtfully engaged and stewarded throughout the year.
- Devotes majority of time to direct frontline activities to engage, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of 150–200 donors and prospects; this includes conducting background research, visit requests, in-person or virtual meetings, donor correspondence, contact reports, and stewardship activities.
