- The HVAC Mechanic in this position will perform the full range of technical work associated with the analysis and independent troubleshooting of the more complex construction, modification, maintenance, and repair problems in building heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems and their associated air handling and control mechanisms.
- The VIPER Network Unit carries data, and voice communications across the state for the operational needs of numerous local and county government public safety agencies and others to include but not limited to, the State Highway Patrol, Alcohol Law Enforcement, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Emergency Management, the State Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation as well as law enforcement, fire and emergency medical services of an increasing number of counties.
- The VIPER Network now has over 170,000 end users that depend on it for public safety radio communications.
- High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of progressive experience in the installation, maintenance or repair of air conditioning chillers, air handling, chilled water distribution and control systems including one year at the journey level; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
