- Under the direction of the General Manager, with a reporting matrix to the Coatings Division, HR Business Partner, this position is accountable for the development, recommendation, implementation and administration of programs, systems and services which maximize the division and the HR potential for the Coatings facility.
- Reports to the site General Manager and has a direct working relationship with the site Operations Manager, Office Manager/Accountant, Outside Sales Rep, department supervisors, Regional HR Manager and the Coatings Division HR Director.
- Works with Regional HR Manager to determine appropriate level of discipline and assists in relaying recommendations to Coatings Management.
- Partners with EHS to ensure that all post-accident, reasonable suspicion, and return-to-work drug testing policy is being followed and documented
- Utilize legal counsel to respond to agency audit request, complaint investigation/resolution measures, unemployment claims & appeals (OSHA, EEC, DOL, OFCCP, DFEH, etc.)
