- Completes and submits housing paperwork required by the department including application for the Department's Rental Assistance Program (RAP), Security Deposit Guarantee Program or other appropriate programs.
- Identifies and gains landlord approval regarding accessibility modifications required to make housing accessible and safe for clients
- Assist clients after transition with issues pertaining to rental payments, landlord relationships, and local housing authorities.
- One to two years experience in housing service coordination for the aging and persons with disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of the Independent Living philosophy a plus.
