- Department of History of Art and Visual Culture : Qualifications Basic qualifications (required at time of application) M.A. or MFA (or equivalent foreign degree) in art history/visual culture or relevant field of study (e.g., media studies or communication); or M. Arch. Teaching experience at the college or university level.
