- WJE is actively hiring for a project-manager-level, Historic Preservation Consultant to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- As a licensed architect or engineer with a technical focus in historic preservation and heritage structures, you will foster client relationships, manage projects, and mentor up-and-coming staff, all while still getting to do the hands-on technical work you are passionate about.
- Technical project execution, including performing and training others in hands-on field work; applying sound judgment, a deep understanding of governing codes and standards, and expertise in a variety of historic construction materials and building systems for the evaluation, restoration, repair design, and preservation of existing and historically-significant structures; preparing technically excellent client deliverables; and providing high-quality reviews of work by others
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary project teams, including providing expertise for a variety of existing structures and historic preservation projects and partnering with other internal and external experts in the pursuit and delivery of various RFPs, RFQs, and IDIQ contracts
- Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture and/or engineering with certification, coursework, or full degree in historic preservation
