- For teaching, the faculty will supervise, teach, and evaluate students in the classroom, skills lab, simulation, clinical, and/or community settings; develop course materials for the management of specific populations; participate in the curriculum development; identify and develop clinical placements and community clinical resources; provide academic advisement for students; and supervise students' scholarly project.
- For clinical practice, the faculty will serve as faculty provider at the faculty practice and/or affiliated sites to provide patient-centered care to underserved patients in interprofessional settings with APRN students.
- Current or eligibility for Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Nurse-Midwife, Clinical Nurse Specialist, and Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Midwife Furnishing license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing at the time of appointment.
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, or Clinical Nurse Midwife by designated certification organizations (i.e., American Nurses Credentialing Center, Pediatric Nursing Certification Board, or American Midwifery Certification Board) at the time of appointment.
