- The Simon Wiesenthal Center (SWC) is a leading international Jewish human rights organization founded in 1977 by Rabbi Marvin Hier. With 400,000 member families, the SWC confronts anti-Semitism, hate, and terrorism, stands with Israel, defends the safety of Jews worldwide, teaches the lessons of the Holocaust for future generations, and serves as a thought leader in human-rights, genocide, intolerance, and hate crimes.
- The Museum has served as the Center’s flagship educational arm, challenging visitors to confront bigotry and racism, and to understand the Holocaust in both historic and contemporary contexts.
