- Reporting to the Associate University Librarian for Teaching, Research, and Engagement, the Head of Access Services provides oversight and leadership for circulation, course reserves, interlibrary loan, and document delivery services across the DePaul University Library.
- The Head of Access Services collaborates across all library departments, partners on campus, and with consortial partners on issues of collection management, the design and delivery of circulation services, and access to resources and technology.
- This includes workshops, committee memberships, and engagement in programs that support the Library’s mission and its inclusion, diversity, equity, and access goals, while building connections and partnerships across DePaul’s wider academic and user community.
- Provides oversight and leadership of the Access Services department, including circulation and use of library resources, course reserves, interlibrary loan, document delivery, loanable technology and stacks maintenance.
- Supervises the operation of the integrated library system in the context of Access Services, including patron and bibliographic records as well as billing and fee collection.
