- Summary:The primary purpose of the Head Men's Golf Coach is to oversee the coaching and training of student-athletes at the NCAA Division I level in the sport of men's golf to prepare them for competition in local, regional, and national arenas.
- Reporting to the Sr. Associate AD for Student Services & NIL, the Head Coach will promote the execution of the Athletic Department's strategic plan by adhering to its mission and core values and acting upon its goals and strategies.
- Typical DutiesCoachingOversee coaching & training of student-athletes at the NCAA Division l level to prepare them for competition in local, regional and national arenas;Manage scheduling of all matches for the men's golf team;Secure travel arrangements involved with recruitment, matches, and tournament or manage staff to do the same; and,Monitor the retention and academic progress of student-athletes.
- Administrative TasksBe aware of and remain in compliance with NCAA, A10, State, and University regulations regarding NCAA Division l Men's Golf;Maintain required NCAA, A10, State and University paperwork;Maintain responsibility for the fiscal and budgetary functions associated with the Men's Golf program or manage staff to do the same; andPromote execution of the Athletic Department's strategic plan by adhering to its mission and core values and acting upon its goals and strategies.
