- Monitor & detail all contractual agreements pertaining to private events and corporate groups including group room blocks, event space, timing, food and beverage and special concessions.
- Prepare all event documentation and coordinates with Sales, hotel departments and customer to ensure consistent, high level service throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of hotel events.
- Serves as the event planner's primary contact (following turnover) on property and is responsible for his/her experience.
- Manage customer budgets to maximize revenue/profitability including forecasting event revenue (catering and audio-visual) for groups and reviewing billing with clients.
- Stay current with trends; assist with business development, collect market and competitive intelligence.
