- Manages all transactions from the beginning to the end of the process by utilizing the Hutson business software system, as well as the John Deere Governmental and National Sales Program and other applications as required.
- Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all governmental and commercial product segments including, but not limited to: John Deere Turf, Mid-Tractor, Light Construction, Manitou material handling products, Diamond, and Alamo industrial mowers.
- Focuses on developing selling strategies that increase market share for federal, state, county, town and village agencies as well as business to business, industrial, landscape contracting and maritime / port operations that are exclusive to the territory.
- Utilizes Hutson's Customer Relationship Manager system diligently and consistently to facilitate prioritization, frequency, and viability of both potential and current customers.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, or an agricultural related discipline or related field, or an equal amount of demonstrated experience is required.
