- Responsibilities The primary duties for this position are to operate equipment within established guidelines for efficiency, safety, product quality, food safety and customer service.
- The equipment will include batching, pelleting and packing equipment and other equipment unique to a plant.
- The operator must be knowledgeable in batching, pelleting and packing procedures and properly document the process as required by Quality and Food Safety procedures.
- Requirements Qualifications/Skills High school diploma or equivalent Pelleting and mixing experience Committed to work in a safe manner Be able to read and follow procedures Complete required paperwork Operate a forklift Good computer and math skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry at least 55 lbs.
- Work in natural climate conditions Climb ladders, stairs and be physically active throughout the shift Pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check is required.
