Job Description The Forming Shift Supervisor will supervise hourly employees in the continuous operation of the plant's production activities with a focus on safety, quality, continuous process improvements, and production efficiencies. The Forming Shift Supervisor will: <ul><li>Ensure a safe working environment for employees and promote a strong safety culture</li><li>Troubleshoot and assist employees operating forming machines</li><li>Monitor job change progress and assist in quality decisions</li><li>Input key shift performance indicators into production databases</li><li>Audit for process control and enforce standardized work for the entire facility</li><li>Ensure that employees are trained and are knowledgeable of department procedures</li></ul> The Forming Shift Supervisor should have: <ul><li>Must have forming experience</li><li>Strong background with scheduling (people, operations, preventative maintenance)</li><li>Proven ability to coach, motivate, and lead hourly employees</li><li>Experience working in a 24/7 manufacturing facility</li></ul> Qualifications <ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent is required</li><li>At least 1 year of experience supervising people and leading processes in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Experience supervising a unionized workforce</li><li>Proficient in MS Office suite, particularly in Excel, and using payroll software</li><li>Must be able to work 12 hour night shifts</li></ul> Additional Information What we offer at O-I: Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $93,000 and $112,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
