- To perform all activities related to food preparation, assembly and distribution of meals for patients, cafeteria patrons and catered functions, constantly striving to improve the quality of products prepared and served.
- Prepares meals and food items for patients (300 per day), cafeteria patrons (800 per day) and assist with the food production for catered functions as necessary.
- Uses and cleans and sanitizes equipment, utensils, the actual kitchen facility under the direction of the supervisor.
- Equipment includes-tilt fryer steamers, steam kettles, ovens, warmers, mixers, slicer, buffalo chopper, food processor, fryers, grill and knives, Dishmachine.
- Performs food preparation duties utilizing proper food handling techniques and following HACCP
