Key Responsibilities of the Finance Coordinator:
<ul>
<li>Lead the development and preparation of the annual budget, aligning with Texas Government and Property Tax Codes.</li>
<li>Evaluate departmental budget submissions, offering recommendations for revenue projections and resource utilization.</li>
<li>Prepare comprehensive budget documents, presentations, and reports for review and approval.</li>
<li>Monitor budget execution throughout the fiscal year, providing regular updates and analysis to the Finance Director.</li>
<li>Manage financial aspects of finance programs within the organization, including forecasting, financial reporting, and budget monitoring.</li>
<li>Work with departments to gather project estimates, budget projections, and funding sources for projects.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain financial models to track project expenses and ensure adherence to budget constraints.</li>
<li>Prepare financial analyses and projections for capital projects, assessing funding sources and financing options.</li>
<li>Monitor project progress, track expenditures, and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and timelines.</li>
<li>Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making related to budgeting, capital investments, and long-term financial planning.</li>
<li>Prepare and analyze financial reports, graphs, and presentations for senior management.</li>
<li>Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to enhance accountability and transparency.</li>
</ul>

Finance Coordinator Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.</li>
<li>Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and budget management.</li>
<li>Experience with municipality budgets.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.</li>
<li>Ability to analyze, interpret, and present financial data accurately.</li>
</ul>
