- The Facilitates Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining the buildings/facilities as instructed and under the direct supervision of the Building Maintenance Manager.
- All Sheltair facilities are maintained for cleanliness and cosmetics as well as the prevention and repaid of any mechanical failures, ensuring the safety and security of all customers.
- Conduct appropriate repairs at facilities/hangars, including but not limited to structural repairs to doors and sidings, hangar door wheels, tracks, door operators (hydraulic/electric), hangar flooring, hangar door motor repairs, repair of roof leaks, pavement/seal coating repairs, airplane apron inspections, plumbing, electrical (hangar interior and exterior lights), maintenance of equipment; landscaping, irrigation; painting, installation of tile floors.
- Perform custodial and maintenance duties to maintain the buildings and grounds in a clean, orderly, safe and aesthetically appeasing condition repairing issues which may arise.
- Trade school certificates a plus in pertinent areas; i.e., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.
