What are we looking for in our External Manufacturing Person-In-Plant (Memphis, TN)?                                                    The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class pharmaceutical organization that has an opening for an External Manufacturing Person-In-Plant near Memphis, TN! ResponsibilitiesSupports operational activities associated with CDMOs and manufacturing partnersSupports the primary point of contact occurring at CDMO – manufacturing, planning, supply chain, quality, testing, regulatory, inspections, projects, and business relationships with the CDMOObserves on the floor manufacturing activitiesReports observations to the CDMO lead and works closely with the CDMO to ensure information is shared to help improve the process and CDMO performanceProvides scientific and hands-on support and troubleshooting for all aspects of technology transfer, process scale-up, process monitoring, QC, packaging and logistic activities Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in science 5+ years of relevant experience in biologics development including cell therapy development Experience supporting technology transfers, cGMP manufacturing operations and CMC regulatory submission and inspection required Knowledge in cell culture technologies, cell processing technologies, cell characterization methods, manufacturing under cGMP, validation, Quality Systems and regulatory requirements Strong leadership skills Strong problem solving skills Additional Details: Requires 90% travel unless local to Memphis, TN area Position type: 10+ month contract Pay rate: $75-102/hr depending on experience  Must be authorized to work in the United States.Russell Tobin offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), a 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, identity theft protection, legal support, auto and home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with some preferred vendors.APPLY NOW! About UsRussell Tobin is a leading minority-owned professional and technical recruitment and staffing advisory organization.We are comprised of specialized practices focusing on a variety of skill sets and industries.
