- Job Description The Executive Director of Educational Technologies is charged with finding, recommending, and implementing information systems for the benefit of student learning at The University of Tulsa, supporting both campus-based and online programs.
- Reporting to the Provost with strong connections to the Chief Information Officer and Vice President for Strategy and Innovation, this role works closely with deans, faculty members, and the student success team to understand their needs and deliver solutions that enhance the academic experience and outcomes for a diverse and evolving body of student populations.
- Essential Functions (Responsibilities):Develop and implements a comprehensive academic and learning technology strategy that aligns with the university’s mission, vision, and goals Manage the selection, acquisition, development, integration, and maintenance of software and applications that support teaching, learning, and research, such as learning management systems, courseware, e-portfolios, assessment tools, etc.
- Required Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:Master’s degree in educational technology, instructional design, or related field required.
- 5 years of progressive experience in academic and learning technology software and applications development and management, preferably in higher education or similar complex environment.
