- The Executive Director, Economic and Workforce Development, reports directly to the Vice Chancellor, Workforce and Economic Development or assigned supervisor, and provides guidance, support, planning, organization, evaluation and implementation of Economic and Workforce Development programs.
- Manages planning, developing, organizing, coordination, leadership, and facilitation of workforce and economic development activities with local and regional Key Talent, Technical Assistance (TA) Providers, CEOs, CIOs, deans, directors, and other regional stakeholders to develop and implement KernCCD's local and regional goals, objectives, and strategies associated with the California Community College Chancellor's Office (CCCCO) statewide workforce and economic development mission and vision.
- Manage CTE logistics, collaboration tools, and communication between member colleges to provide relevant information concerning regional workforce and economic development activities.
- File a report on activities annually with the Vice Chancellor, Workforce and Economic Development or assigned supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice Chancellor, Workforce and Economic Development or assigned supervisor.
