- Under the leadership of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, the executive director leads the Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Analytics (IRPA) whose mission is to provide institutional reporting and analysis on all aspects of the University.
- The executive director is a seasoned institutional research practitioner who leads the IRPA research staff in delivering core services of the department to provide official reporting for the institution to internal and external audiences and complete mandated and high-stakes reporting to government agencies, accrediting bodies, and other entities.
- The incumbent coordinates activities that support strategic planning such as benchmarking studies, peer comparisons, measuring key performance indicators, and conducting studies and analyses.
- Other key services of the unit support enrollment management by providing data for predictive modeling, scholarship leveraging, enrollment forecasting, retention studies, student outcomes analyses, program review, and productivity and cost studies.
