- Reporting to the President & CEO, the Executive Director of Foundation Operations and Services (EDSO) will provide strategic direction of central operations for the foundation, including oversight of Information Technology Services, Prospect Development and Research, Records and Gifts, Operations, and Organizational Development.
- As a member of SJHCF’s Executive Team, the EDSO coordinates operational planning with colleagues in Annual Giving, Development, Donor Engagement and Stewardship, Finance and Accounting, and Marketing-Communications, to optimize donor stewardship, prospect pipeline management, fundraising outcomes and overall operational efficiency.
- Provide strategic direction and support for all foundation technology resources, systems and data, including the current donor database (CRM), giving pages/forms, third-party processors, volunteer/donor platform(s), advancement reporting tools, online community, document imaging system, and other associated software.
- Ensure foundation has a long-range plan for strategic investments in technology and business solutions to position it as a leader in development and donor relations information services.
- Develop expertise in and work closely with partners in the finance & accounting team to ensure foundation adheres to state and federal regulations (including IRS and FASB) as well as industry standards (Donor Bill of Rights, AFP, CASE and AHP) related to gift processing and counting.
