- Stantec's southeastern environmental services group is seeking environmental scientists/ecologists to serve as a field water resources delineation/assessment lead and to provide environmental field surveys, reporting, and permitting support for our clients in the transportation, renewable energy, electric transmission, and other business sectors.
- The selected candidate will lead local teams to complete water resource (wetland and stream) delineations/assessments, stream functional assessments, and stream hydrologic determinations, as well as assist our team of environmental professionals on environmental impact analysis, vegetation assessments/monitoring, and listed species surveys across the eastern U.S. Open to candidates located throughout across eastern/southeastern US - Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia.
- As an Environmental Scientist/Ecologist, you will work in a highly dynamic team environment with other biologists/ecologists/water resource specialists, ecosystem restoration engineers, NEPA specialists, environmental planners, and regulatory experts.
- Provide technical leadership and assist with project management on a wide variety of environmental planning and permitting projects for clients in the renewable energy, transportation, and development sectors
- Complete WOTUS delineations and assessments, vegetation inventories/monitoring, wildlife surveys and habitat assessments, aquatic assessments
