- Position Purpose: Under minimal supervision, responsible for managing the implementation of the Environmental Compliance program at TWI. This function is in support of the General Manager, Managers and Supervisors who are ultimately responsible and accountable for division EH & S performance.
- Primary Duties/responsibilities: Manages branch level implementation of all environmental policies, programs, and systems (e.g., stormwater management/sewer use, air, tank management, special waste, environmental monitoring).
- Manages branch level implementation of all health, safety, and transportation policies, programs, and systems (e.g., hazard communication, emergency response, lock/tagout, confined space, medical program, driver qualifications, vehicle condition reports, random drug testing, industrial hygiene, PPE, PSM).
- Assures the accuracy and quality of information reported if CARS. Communicates potential non-compliance issues or practices to appropriate managers at the branch, and as needed, to the Region/Corporate EMD. Sets up and tracks issues to resolution on a timely basis.
- Reviews all routine and non-routine projects to ensure engineering and operations consistency with all applicable permits, conditions and environmental, health & safety regulations.
