- As the EHS Specialist, you will provide technical, environmental, health, and safety support to assigned plants and personnel.
- Essential functions include supporting the evaluation of environmental, health, and safety programs and coordinating plant activities to support local and corporate objectives.
- Coach, counsel, and guide department leaders and team members to ensure EHS programs and policies are followed.
- Train and educate employees on safety procedures, emergency response protocols, and accident prevention techniques; promote EHS awareness and best practices while keeping employees motivated.
- Develop and maintain an environmental management system (EMS); oversee waste management, pollution prevention, and sustainability initiatives including but not limited to pollution control, waste management, environmental health, conservation, and renewable energy.
