- Job OverviewAt TE Connectivity, the Environmental Health & Safety Manager, in collaboration with the Plant Manager and other members of the management team, ensures and monitors safety in the workplace and compliance with all environmental requirements.
- Including the application and communication of health, safety, environmental and hazardous materials standards, procedures, and practices consistent with established safety and environmental regulations.
- Ensure TE safety initiatives required by the TE Operating Advantage (TEOA) Safety Tool are deployed for the organization, including behavior- based safety (BBS), ergonomics programs, risk assessment, EHS training, machine guarding and employee engagement.
- Create organizational EHS metrics where needed that drive improvements in EHS performance, near hit reporting, behavioral safety scorecards, ergonomic assessment, risk assessment data, environmental permit data, hazard reporting, etc.
- Participate in risk assessments, advising risk assessment teams on the assessment process; quantification of risks; prioritizing risks for action and effective risk control measures.
