Title: Entry Shipping/ Receiving Specialist Company: BDSI Job ID: 98787 Location: Wichita, KS This position is expected to be 100% onsite. Position Summary: Assists with initial verification for identification and damage on incoming/outgoing receivers/shippers. Processes receiving/shipping documentation. Packages and processes shipments. Assists with maintaining inventory of shipping/receiving supplies. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lift and carry cartons weighing up to 35 lbs. and manage cartons in excess of 35 lbs. utilizing available safety tools.</li> <li>Places parts in proper location after identifying and verifying part numbers</li> <li>Uses a utility cart, identifies cartons by part number, uses a computer or laptop, cart, cycle counts product, hand scanner and PC.</li> <li>Picking and filling orders using a laptop computer</li> <li>Receive parts and disburse to proper bins</li> <li>Matches paperwork to box and prepares orders for billing / shipping</li> <li>Support reaching Departmental & Company Key Results</li> <li>Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned</li></ul> Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): <ul> <li>0-2 years of related work experience</li> <li>Ability to stand and walk on cement floors for long periods of time throughout the workday.</li> <li>General Work Experience</li> <li>Ability to fluently read, write and speak English</li> <li>Warehouse experience</li> <li>Experience in operating material handling equipment</li> <li>Basic Computer Knowledge</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): <ul> <li>Education: High School Diploma / Equivalent </li></ul> Relocation: Relocation assistance is not negotiable benefit for this position.
