- Position Overview DCAMM’s Office of Design and Construction is seeking Contractor Resident Engineers/Clerk of Works to monitor various Public construction projects statewide, including CM@Risk, new construction, renovations, demolition, environmental remediation, and energy and water conservation projects including large retrofits, commissioning, and installation of renewable energy technology.
- Resident Engineers work with the Designer, Contractor, and Project Manager/Project Engineer to maintain quality control, ensure appropriate construction methods, procedures and safety requirements, adherence to contract documents and compliance with all related codes and regulations, including accessibility codes and guidelines.
- Resident Engineers maintain accurate project records, ensure that contractor as-builts are up-to-date, assist with the oversight of MEP and Enclosure Commissioning, utility incentives, punch list, project close-out and delivery/turn-over from construction to user agency operations.
