- We advocate, educate and lead the way to social change Summary of Cornerstone Cornerstone is a $5.5 million organization that provides comprehensive services for individuals and families in the greater Twin Cities metropolitan area who are experiencing or have experienced domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking or general crime.
- One position available every Saturday and Sunday 3PM to 11 PM. The second position will be every other Friday and Saturday 11 PM to 7 AM. Job Summary: The Emergency Services Advocate is responsible for providing advocacy support, and information to victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence and/or human trafficking/sexual exploitation accessing Cornerstone's 24/7 shelter, hotel, crisis line and walk-in services.
- The Emergency Services Advocate utilizes trauma-informed, survivor centered, and culturally responsive practices to provide supportive services for participants.
- Understand trauma-informed, survivor centered, and culturally responsive care practices with a focus on the impact of domestic violence.
- Sexual violence, and/or human trafficking/sexual exploitation.
