Part-time
- Assists emergency room team, in person or via telehealth, in a consultant role to provide expert clinical care to patients and families presenting to the ED in mental health or substance abuse crisis.
- Provides crisis intervention, risk assessment, mental health evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, counseling and psychotherapy as appropriate.
- Provides recommendation in writing to the ED for next level of care and coordinates bed placement or crisis plan/referrals as needed ensuring that appropriate decision makers are informed of and involved in treatment planning.
- Required Qualifications: Eligibility to be Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Minnesota (LICSW) and Wisconsin (LCSW) OR Eligibilityto be Licensed Professional Counselor in both Minnesota and Wisconsin or licensed eligible.
