- Examples include hazard communication, emergency preparedness and response, lockout/tag-out, safety training, hearing conservation, forklift safety, contractor safety, storm-water pollution prevention, spill prevention, hazardous waste handling, etc.
- Work with plant safety committees to educate, and insure compliance to corporate safety policies and practices.
- Evaluate and determine needs for industrial hygiene, fire protection and safety products.
- Maintain record keeping requirements of EPA, OSHA, and other pertinent compliance matters.
- Consult with EHS Manager and top management on strategic direction of safety programs
