- The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator is responsible for providing integral administration and general support for HarbisonWalker Internationals plant safety programs including, accident investigation, workers compensation management, and compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, and programs.
- Managing workers compensation issues, including leading communication with TPA for every location, coordinating contacts, strategy for claim management, paying bills, negotiating claim settlements (with support from Legal Department on complex claims as necessary)
- Assisting corporate EH&S staff with data acquisition, reporting, permitting, etc.
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and workers’ compensation regulations and practices
- The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator requires zero (0) – two (2) years of industrial/manufacturing safety experience with experience in Workers Compensation case management.
