- The Speech Language Pathologist, Early Intervention provides and directs speech therapy services to children aged birth to three, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication.
- Provides speech therapy services to children and initiates referrals when appropriate and in accordance with Bureau of Early Intervention procedures.
- Produces discharge reports in advance of reaching age-out of Early Intervention to assist with transition process, or as required at discharge from caseload for any other reason.
- Coaches and Instructs parent/caregiver in appropriate speech-language procedures or home program to allow carry-over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities.
- Adheres to Encore Early Intervention department procedures regarding documentation of speech therapy services.
