Grammarly is excited to offer a remote-first hybrid working model. Team members work primarily remotely in the United States, Canada, Ukraine, Germany, or Poland. Certain roles have specific location requirements to facilitate collaboration at a particular Grammarly hub. All roles have an in-person component: Conditions permitting, teams meet 2–4 weeks every quarter at one of Grammarly’s hubs in San Francisco, Kyiv, New York, Vancouver, and Berlin, or in a workspace in Kraków. This flexible approach gives team members the best of both worlds: plenty of focus time along with in-person collaboration that fosters trust and unlocks creativity. Grammarly team members in this role will collaborate in person 4 weeks per quarter, traveling if necessary to different hubs. To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Director of Paid Acquisition to join our Acquisition Marketing team. This role will be pivotal in leading a large portion of Grammarly's paid marketing efforts to acquire new users for our self-serve desktop product. This task directly impacts our ambitious user growth and revenue goals. This role involves developing a comprehensive strategy, implementing robust targeting, testing, and tracking capabilities, and building/leading/coaching a team that can meet the demands of a rapidly growing business. Your impact Responsibilities As Director of Paid Acquisition, you will be responsible for balancing growth targets and efficiency across existing and emerging channels. In this role, you will: <ul><li>Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of paid acquisition marketers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to ensure the team's success.</li><li>Effectively manage and optimize substantial marketing budgets, allocating budgets across channels, markets, and campaigns to achieve maximum ROI and meet acquisition targets.</li><li>Continuously monitor campaign performance, conduct in-depth analysis, and leverage insights to refine strategies, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive optimization.</li><li>Collaborate closely with internal teams, including creative, analytics, and product marketing, to ensure alignment of our ad initiatives with overall business objectives and messaging.</li><li>Evolve our MarTech stack and automation solutions to drive maximum efficiency and impact across the team. The expected salary ranges for this San Francisco-based position are outlined below and may be modified in the future.
