- In collaboration with the Regional Vice President, the Human Resources Director is responsible for the planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling of the Human Resources function to promote effective and efficient utilization of personnel; plans, develops, coordinates, and administers policies, procedures and programs that relate to all phases of the Human Resources function.
- Provides direction and oversight in the development and implementation of employee relations strategies and programs designed to minimize and mediate workplace disputes, and to foster a positive, healthy, and productive work environment.
- Participate in HR cross-business initiatives to maximize organizational effectiveness, drive HR process simplification and deliver service excellence.
- Stay abreast of workers compensation issues and trends and contribute to effective program management.
- Achieve and implement Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives and strategies to ensure a diverse workforce and inclusive workplace for all employees.
