- Who We Are: Meryl's Safe Haven is a non-profit organization that provides shelter and transitional housing to families and youth who have aged out of the care of the Department of Children and Families (DCF) who are between the ages of 18-24.
- As an organization we focus on holistic support by providing financial budgeting and management, identifying child care and mental health resources, education, and workforce development opportunities, while meeting the basic needs of food, safety, and shelter.
- Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer the Direct Care / Residential Counselor will work closely with families in a congregate emergency shelter site in Worcester providing and guiding families and youth to holistic support.
- Assist in completing screening, intakes activities and orientation of new families •Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer aid families with keeping compliance with program
- Passion working with economically disadvantaged, culturally diverse, and at-risk families and youth
