- The Dining Manager oversees front-line staff and daily operations of three Pomona College Dining Halls (Frary, Frank, and Oldenborg) Coop Fountain and Sagehen Cafe. In collaboration with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef/Managers, this position ensures that the Dining venues are properly cleaned, stocked and staffed during each meal period.
- The Dining Manager is responsible for the direction and executive oversight of dining employees
- Collaborate with the General Manager, Executive Chef , Senior Dining Manager and Chef/Managers to oversee the daily operations of the Pomona College dining venues, to ensure that the Dining venues are properly cleaned, stocked and staffed during each meal period, and to ensure compliance with safe food handling practices and the highest level of food quality and customer service is provided for the Pomona College community.
- Coordinates temporary staffing need within the dining halls including but not limited to employment agencies and social service employment staffing firms.
