- Responsibilities: The Deputy Program Manager will manage and administer the work effort to assure fully adequate, disciplined, and timely completion of all requirements in a safe manner Job duties will include but are not limited to: DPM serves as PM during periods the PM is unavailable and authorized to interface with the Government Contracting Officer (CO), the contract level Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and squadron Technical Assistants (TA).
- Qualifications: A minimum of five years’ experience in a managerial position in a U.S. Navy activity as a uniformed service member, civil servant or contractor employee responsible for performance of Routine Administrative, Personnel Administrative, or Travel Administrative Support Services Knowledge of Navy correspondence and records management procedures, and Navy squadron organizational structure and their relationships to Type Wing Commanders and Type Commanders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required for consideration.
- Ensures flow of communication from upper management to employees and vice versa.
