- The DDO/COO reports directly to the Laboratory Director, and works closely with Deputy Directors for Science & Technology, Deputy Director for Projects, Associate Laboratory Directors, Director of Contractor Assurance, and the DOE Site Office and headquarters.
- The DDO/COO works closely with the DOE's site office management to ensure the laboratory implements the contractual requirements associated with the operations of the laboratory.
