- Communicates with City Manager, city officials, employees, city departments, government agencies, engineers, developers, contractors, consultants, vendors, Chamber of Commerce, applicants, customers, the public, the media, outside agencies, and other individuals as needed to coordinate work activities, review status of work, exchange information, resolve problems, or give/receive direction.
- Assists with citywide disaster preparedness and incident response as needed.
- Completion of a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college/university with a major in Public Administration, Urban Policy, Business Administration, Engineering, Planning, Finance or a related field.
- Must have previous experience as a City Manager, Deputy/Assistant City Manager, or Department Director in a municipal or other governmental agency environment.
- Knowledge of local, State, and federal laws, rules, and regulations as applied to the activities and programs of municipal government.
