- This position is located in the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Office of the Deputy Chief Information Officer for Customer Relationship and Performance Management (CRPM).
- This is accomplished by aligning IT policy and governance, portfolio management, risk management, and IT project management policies, practices, and procedures across the Department within the context of the overall IT planning process.
- The Deputy Chief Information Officer for CRPM (Deputy CIO), serves as a key advisor to the Principal Deputy CIO and CIO while providing leadership, strategic direction, and executive oversight of the Departments annual Information Technology (IT) investment budget of approximately $300M. The Deputy CIO will provide leadership through coordination and collaboration in the areas of policy, strategic planning, government, and industry relationships.
- Serves as principal advisor to the CIO on the establishment of a strategic management framework to improve the planning and controls of IT investments and operations in order to effectively and efficiently facilitate the advancement of HUD's mission.
