- Position Summary: The Coordinator Advocacy & Government Relations is responsible for mobilizing people and communities to support full access to sexual and reproductive health care services and sexual health information and protect individual reproductive freedom.
- Advances PPHP’s mission through community collaboration, volunteer engagement, and outreach.
- Manages short-term advocacy and organizing projects such as Day of Action, volunteer and activist activities and actions, voter engagement, and legislative campaigns, in the region, as assigned.
- Builds and retains targeted collaborative partnerships with allied organizations and coalitions in the region, consistent with affiliate educational, medical, advocacy, lobbying, and legislative goals.
- Represents PPHP at a broad range of meetings, coalitions, and task forces outside the affiliate, in the assigned region; leverages relationships with leaders of coalition partners and community agencies to build network of activists for reproductive and sexual health, rights and justice (grasstops and grassroots).
