- We currently have open positions for construction inspectors with 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in the construction or rehabilitation of roadways, bridges, tunnels, and facilities.
- As a Construction Inspector, your role is essential to ensure the quality and compliance of construction projects.
- The ability to obtain the appropriate certification within the Mid-Atlantic Region Technician Certification Program (MARTCP), such as Asphalt Field Technician, Concrete Field Technician, Soils & Aggregate Compaction Technician, or Pavement Marking Technician, based on the specific project assignment,
- The ability to complete the MDOT SHA Traffic Manager's (TMA) Training within one year
- Must be capable of occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, walking over rough and uneven terrain, standing for up to 12 hours a day on occasion, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting, using hands to grasp, reaching, raising hands above the head, sitting, climbing, and balancing
