- Responsible for engaging with community members, healthcare professionals, and local organizations as well as leading the We Honor Veterans programming and supporting the Regional Hospice Volunteer Coordinator in volunteer recruitment and coordination efforts.
- Develops and implements outreach to targeted individuals, community partners, civic organizations, faith-based groups, and the community within the service area to enhance awareness of Amedisys Hospice services.
- Plans and implements community engagement activities and events such as surveys, focus groups, public forums, town halls, workshops, parades, and charity drives.
- Works closely and partners with the Regional Volunteer Coordinator and the Business Development Liaisons to drive community engagement.
- Collaborates with the Volunteer Services team to develop a recruitment and retention plan to market all volunteer opportunities and roles, including but not limited to hosting and attending community recruiting events, assisting with interviewing potential volunteers, and coordinating volunteers to help with community projects or events.
