- Responsibilities: Reporting to the Associate Dean for Medical Education and Faculty Success, the Assistant Dean for Scholarly Productivity and Innovation serves as a senior educational researcher in the Office of Medical Education and Faculty Success at the Thomas F. Frist, Jr. College of Medicine at Belmont University.
- Procure external grants and contracts to support research activities.
- Teach and mentor students and faculty in educational research and scholarship, including study design; analysis of quantitative and qualitative data; and dissemination of results.
- Work with the FCoM Executive Leadership Team, Vice Provost for Research and Strategic Initiatives on all aspects of research administration, including compliance and financial issues (this includes, but is not limited to, interacting with ORA and the IRB on behalf of the school).
- Collaborate with the Associate Dean to implement the research aspects of the FCoM strategic plan.
