Full-time
- Operates machines and equipment to cut, shape, form, or grind metal work pieces to specifications.
- This includes loading and unloading parts, basic part inspection using hard gauges and measurement tools, routine 6S, laboring on/off, transacting completions and scrap, part quality inspection using a CMM, changing broken/worn tools, performing minor preventive maintenance, following setup instructions to switch between jobs, interpreting CMM reports, making CNC program offsets for shift/drift or tool length/wear compensation, and making basic CNC program changes.
- Capable of identifying tool wear and interpret Quality Lab CMM reports.
- Train other CNC Operators on machine tending, laboring on/off and transaction completions and scrap
