- Job Summary The CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care.
- Considered a member of the nursing team and is expected to know, and will be held accountable for, following infection prevention and control policies and Personal Protective Equipment use.
- The CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant communicates resident's changing condition and care related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
- CNA training and certification required and provided by facility.
