- Ensures alignment of policies with practice and regulations; identifies planned/unplanned deviations for review with departmental and organizational leadership.
- Assumes role as an organizational UNOS Patient Safety Contact for Potential Disease Transmission Reporting, communication, documentation, and follow-up.
- Identifies Donor Record QA and Death Record Review outcomes, observations, and deviations for organizational Change Management and Audit scheduling as necessary for improvement of Clinical Operations in collaboration with the Department of Process Transformation and Innovation (DPTI).
- Collaborates proactively with organizational leadership to establish policy-appropriate schedules and tasks for QA outcomes review and recommendations, and to identify process improvement opportunities such as Donor Record QA/Death Record Review related findings, outcomes, existing or anticipated internal/external barriers, challenges and organizational downstream impact.
