- The Clinical Psychologist is responsible for the provision of clinical behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and adults.
- The Clinical Psychologist provides psychological assessment, diagnosis and individual and family therapy, referral, and follow-up.
- Duties, as outlined in this job description and the contract for services, align within the scope of employment for a Nurse Practitioner and are therefore covered by the Federally Supported Health Centers Assistance Acts (FSHCAA) and the FTCA.
- Conducts diagnostic evaluations of emotional disorders or disabilities, alcoholism, and substance abuse, and of the psychological aspects of physical illness, accident, injury, or disability; and assigns appropriate DSM and ICD diagnosis codes.
- Conducts psychology testing and evaluation or assessment of personal characteristics such as intelligence, personality, abilities, interests, aptitudes, and neuropsychological functioning through psychological testing, observations, surveys, interviews, and other methods.
