- The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine is recruiting a BC/BE clinical epileptologist with expertise in surgical epilepsy treatments to take on a leadership role in an outstanding established epilepsy program.
- Clinical duties encompass but are not limited to the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy and seizures; clinical pre-surgical epilepsy evaluations; performing phase I and phase II epilepsy monitoring unit investigations; review and interpretation of adult routine and continuous EEG monitoring; and carrying out Wada test and cortical stimulation to map motor and language function.
- The position is offered in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) or Clinical Neurology series at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank commensurate with experience.
